My Bio

As owner of Ducks in a Row Home Organizing, I am following my passion…

helping others declutter, clear out, improve space, and feel energized.

Ever since I was a young child, I have strived for order and structure. This has served me well both professionally and personally. After coming to a crossroads in my career, I took a pause to really think about what I wanted to do with my life.  What makes me happy? What fulfills me? How can I have more balance in my life?

At the same time, I was caring for my elderly mother.  This included downsizing her from a house to an apartment, and then into an assisted living facility. Tough choices had to be made. What should be moved, sold, donated, and discarded? Since my passion for decluttering and organizing began at a young age, this came naturally to me.  Her gratitude for my assistance coupled with the personal satisfaction I felt became the inspiration for my business and ‘Ducks in a Row’ was born.

I grew up in the Rochester, NY area and graduated from Hartwick College in 1991. I spent the next three years in Boston before returning to my hometown. Before starting “Ducks in a Row”, I worked at a hospital foundation, most recently as Senior Executive Assistant to the President.  Prior to the foundation, I held the position of Personal Assistant to a Rochester-based philanthropist. During this time, I put my organizational skills to work.

I live in Greenville, SC with my husband and have two grown children. When I am not creating order in my life and others, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, outdoor activities, reading, and doting on my miniature Goldendoodle, Moxie.
